EssenceCiel is located at Chez Bénet 7, in Mont-de-Buttes, in the Val-de-Travers (canton of Neuchâtel, Switzerland). It is a a hamlet of around forty residents at 1060 metres of altitude, less than a kilometre from La Côte-aux-Fées. A CarPostal bus stop is 20 metres away.
By train to Neuchâtel or Yverdon, then the CarPostal bus towards La Côte-aux-Fées — stop 20 metres from the house. Around 1h from Neuchâtel, 1h15 from Yverdon. Free parking on site for those coming by car.
Rooms are priced between CHF 150 and CHF 300 per night, depending on the season and room. Continental breakfast is included. Tourist tax: CHF 4.20 per person per night. The exact price is shown in real time during booking.
Yes, a continental breakfast is included. Served at the shared table between 7:30 and 10:00: butter braid bread, homemade breads and yoghurt, regional jams and cheeses, cereals, ham, eggs on request, coffee, tea, juice.
Yes, a traditional sauna in a garden cabin, available on request. CHF 25 per person per session, payable on site. Book directly with your hosts on arrival.

No, EssenceCiel does not accept pets. Service dogs are welcome. The house is entirely non-smoking.
Check-in: between 16:00 and 21:00. Check-out: before 11:00. For late arrivals, contact your hosts in advance — keypad code entry is possible.
Hiking to the Creux du Van (1463 m) or the Chasseron (1607 m), e-biking on the Jura trails, visiting the absinthe distilleries of the Val-de-Travers, Lac des Taillières, the historic village of Môtiers. Snowshoeing and cross-country skiing in winter. Your hosts will provide a personalised map.
Five rooms: Sérénité, Espoir and Perspective (17 m²), Ouverture and Regards (23 m²). All with private bathrooms — shower and WC. Total capacity: about 10 people.
