These terms apply to any booking made on essenceciel.org. By confirming your booking, you acknowledge having read and accepted them.
Article 1 — Booking
The booking is firm and final once the full payment is received. A confirmation email with the dates, the room and the amount paid is sent to you. If you do not receive it within the hour, please check your spam folder, then contact reservation@essenceciel.org.
Article 2 — Check-in and check-out
Check-in and room handover happen between 4 p.m. and 9 p.m. For any arrival outside this window, let us know at least 24 hours in advance — we will find an arrangement. The room must be vacated before 10 a.m. on the day of departure.
Article 3 — House rules
The entire house is non-smoking, indoors and outdoors. Calm and quiet are the keywords of our region and our home; we count on everyone's respect. Pets are not allowed.
Article 4 — Tourist tax
A tourist tax of 4.20 CHF per person per night is due, payable in cash on site upon arrival. It includes the «Neuchâtel Tourist Card» (public transport and access to several tourist sites).
Article 5 — Payment
Payment is made online by credit card or Twint via Stripe at the time of booking. Card data never transits through our servers. Currency: CHF, all taxes included except the tourist tax.
Article 6 — Cancellation
Bookings can be cancelled free of charge up to 7 days before the arrival date — full refund within 5 to 10 business days. Beyond 7 days, the amount can no longer be refunded. A secure cancellation link is provided in your confirmation email.
Article 7 — Liability
We do our utmost to welcome you in the best conditions. EssenceCiel cannot be held responsible for indirect damages, personal theft or inconvenience due to exceptional circumstances (weather, technical failures).
Article 8 — Applicable law
This agreement is governed by Swiss law. Any dispute shall be brought before the competent courts of Neuchâtel.
